hey there! here’s a bit about me:

Davon Clark is a Philadelphia-raised artist who is currently based in Chicago.

I was born in New Jersey, raised in Philly, went to Penn State University, then moved to Chicago to work and learn more in the creative arts.

he uses investigative journalism practices in his camerawork and poetry. His work looks to fill in the gaps left behind in coverage of the worlds that he lives in.

After some college jobs in news & media, I pursued photojournalism fellowships and assignments across Chicago and the Midwest for local and national outlets.

HIS photography and writing has been published in the wall street journal, the triibe, narratively, and more.

While I most enjoy storytelling and narrative-building work, my editors have allowed me to experience all corners of journalism, from editorial work in music and sports to public housing investigations.

He likes flowers and the little things in life.

I don’t like putting accolades in my press bio, so I added this to it for character so that hosts don’t have to try and make something up when they’re introducing me at a show or whatever.
